Financial Literacy Program

Successful community economics begin at home. Take the guesswork out of managing your finances with the Town of Windsor’s new Financial Literacy Program. In partnership with local financial institutions, this series of free seminars will cover a variety of personal finance topics. The seminars will be offered as separate English and Spanish sessions on the following dates:

First Seminar – Topic: "Banking Basics" presented by Wells Fargo
• Monday, May 2, 2016 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. – English version
• Wednesday, May 4, 2016 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. – Spanish version

Second Seminar – Topic: "Introduction to Credit" presented by Exchange Bank
• Monday, June 6, 2016 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. – English version
• Wednesday, June 8, 2016 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. – Spanish version

Third Seminar– Topic: "Introduction to Loans" presented by Exchange Bank
• Monday, July 11, 2016 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. – English version
• Thursday, July 14, 2016 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. – Spanish version

Fourth Seminar – Topic: "Money Management" hosted by Redwood Credit Union
• Monday, September 19, 2016 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. – English version
• Thursday, September 22, 2016 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. – Spanish version

All seminars will be hosted at the Mary Agatha Furth Center located at 8400 Old Redwood Highway, Windsor, CA 95492.

While all sessions are at no cost to the participants, space is limited and participants must register in advance by calling (707) 838-1000.
